Always burn candles 3 inches apart and remove hang tag prior to burning. Achieve optimal burn by allowing your candle to create a full surface wax pool before extinguishing it. To avoid tunneling, ensure the wax liquefies from edge to edge. Additionally trim wicks to one-quarter inch prior to lighting and avoid dropping debris, such as wick trimmings or matches, into the wax. Always burn your candle on an even, temperature-safe surface, away from drafts. Discontinue burning when one-half inch unmelted wax remains at the bottom of the vessel — do not attempt to melt the remaining wax or burn the wick beyond the metal sustainer.
Once your candle has completed burning, our metal containers and lids can be upcycled to store small items, wrap gifts, or house potted plants. They are not intended for food or beverage use. To remove remaining wax, place the jar in the freezer for a few hours then knock out the hardened wax. To remove the metal sustainers, gently pull up on the sustainer using pliers or carefully slide a flat-head screwdriver under it to pry it off.
